Our Murcia centre is for groups looking for a more advanced watersports programme, where students will develop and hone their sailing and canoeing skills. Additional watersports include Windsurfing, Snorkelling and Raft-Building. The Mar Menor is unrivalled as a watersports venue, being the world’s largest salt water lake or alternatively known as the world’s largest swimming pool thanks to it warm, clear waters. Host to a plethora of water sports and important marine habitats, the Mar Menor provides the ideal, safe, watersports environment.
Non sporting activities include cooking typical Spanish dishes such as Paella and Gazpacho on the local beach, observing flamingos and herons in the bird sanctuary opposite, visiting local lead and silver mines, and excursions to Cartagena, Murcia, Salinas de San Pedro or even the Terra Mitica theme park.
Your party will be divided into groups of 10 each accompanied by a centre ‘Monitore’ who will lead the group throughout the week. Arbolar instructors go through a rigorous training regime that lasts more than a year. Your Monitore will also lead a programme of evening entertainments.
